Phil is the Managing Director of Experience, providing direction for the business and leadership of the amazing team. In 2014, Phil joined Lora Caven, founding Director, in reshaping the business, as they began to develop a better culture and environment for the valued members and clients. He has a wealth of knowledge gleaned from a professional career alongside his business interests. Phil took over the company completely in 2016, allowing Lora to pursue other business interests. In his spare time, Phil likes to spend time with his boys and socialising with friends.

Julie is a therapist at Experience, coming to us with over 5 years experience as a beauty therapist.
Julie enjoys undertaking a range of treatments with a particular interest in ensuring her clients look and feel well.
Carol joined experience in February 2015 as a therapist. After 15 years of floristry, she took up night classes in waxing and nails at Clydebank College and soon after applied full time to gain her Level 3 HNC. She graduated in 2012, being top of the class in HND. Carol also has advanced training in areas such as nails, makeup and massage. In her free time, Carol enjoys going for walks, watching general knowledge quiz shows and spending time with her family.
Biggest fear? – Deep water
If you had 3 wishes, what would they be? – World peace, good health and a holiday home in Crete
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would you chose? – Nutella

What is your favourite place in the world – The beach
Brian trained as a hair stylist, qualifying in 2003, whilst working in East Kilbride. Prior to moving to Sydney in 2011 to take up post as Salon Director for a leading Salon brand, Brian had already developed a successful salon in the south side of Glasgow. Brian has undertaken significant additional training to develop his knowledge of hair colouring and styling, as well as barber training. Since returning to the UK, Brian has grown a regular clientele which he’s brought to the new Hair Salon within EHB.
Worst fear – Snakes
If you could have 3 wishes, what would they be? – No Poverty, Free Travel (waiting for his bus pass), Lots of Food!
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would you chose? – Cake

Leah is our Salon Assistant, who shampoos hair, makes the tea and keeps the salon clean and tidy during our open hours.
Julie has been with us since 2016 and has responsibility for ensuring the cleanliness of the salon. Julie also ensures team members are supported with laughter, love and treats! Julie is well known in the community and brings value to everything she is involved with.
Hayley joined us in June 2015 as a team leader. In this role, she takes client appointments, handles the daily running of the salon and oversees therapists. She spent 4 years in hospitality and has recently completed a course in cosmetology therefore she is very up to date on the latest cosmetic developments. Out of work, Hayley dedicates her free time to her two young daughters at home.
Worst fear – Birds
If you have 3 wishes, what would they be? – To be happy, for my girls to be healthy and content and for Cassia to sleep a full night!
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would you chose? – Literally anything, as long as it’s edible!
Biggest pet hate – Noisy eaters
Favourite place in the world – My mum’s house
As a team leader at Experience, Brenda ensures the smooth daily running of the salon, supervises therapists and takes client appointments. She has been at the salon since July 2014 and continues to develop her role further. Brenda studied International Travel with Information Systems at Glasgow Caledonian University and History with the History of Art at Glasgow. In her spare time, Brenda likes to read, go to the cinema and spend time with her dog Jake, and her three cats.
Worst fear – A world without animals
If you could have 3 wishes, what would they be? – That Jake, my dog, would live as long as me, to have my own doggy daycare centre and to spend one more day with my mum
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would you chose? – Good macaroni cheese!
Biggest pet hate – Rude people and people who hurt animals

Claire provides a behind the scenes administrative role and joined Experience in 2015. She has a wide range of skills gained from previous admin positions and assists our team leaders and therapists in providing the best services to our clients. Outside the salon, Claire enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two little boys.
Worst fear – Slugs. Terrified!
If you could have 3 wishes, what would they be? – For my 2 boys to be happy and healthy all their lives, to escape with my husband for a holiday in the Maldives without said boys, and to be thought of as a kind and happy person
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would you chose? – Chocolate!

Lynsey has been a therapist for several years, previously working at EHB and recently returning (great to have her back with us). Lynsey is a popular therapist, who is committed to ensuring her clients feel they’re being looked after and enjoying their treatments.
Fiona has been a therapist at EHB for several years, having taken a break to do some additional training in Glasgow, she returned to the salon in 2017. Fiona is an amazing therapist, who has development a good client base and loves looking after our clients. Fiona also enjoys teaching others, helping people develop in their knowledge and skills.
Amanda joined the team in 2017, and has built a strong client base, primarily around comfort treatments. Amanda has a great reputation for massage and facials, as well as developing her client following for waxing and nail treatments too.
Lisa has recently joined us as a therapist within the team, focussing on complimentary therapies. Lisa is already developing a client base, with people enjoying Swedish and Aromatherapy Massage, Reflexology and Facial treatments.
Catherine is our partner specialising in Chiropody and Reflexology, having graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in Podiatry and from Clydebank College in Reflexology. She has been practising for over 6 years now and is very successful – advance bookings are advised! In her spare time Catherine enjoys to keep fit at the gym and has a keen interest in holistic therapies such as treatments offered at the salon. She is currently working to extend her knowledge of food and nutrition as well as natural healing.
Biggest fear – Creepy crawlies
If you could have 3 wishes, what would they be? – World peace, that my daughter would clean her room and KEEP it clean and that I could eat whatever I want without putting on weight!

Favourite place in the world – The seaside
Lisa has worked as a hair stylist for over 15 years, taking some time our recently with her young family, but now growing her client list at EHB. Lisa has undertaken further training, and specialises in cutting, so she’s just who you need if you’re thinking about a new style!
Nancy is a partner with Experience, offering Usui Reiki Treatments, Tarot Readings and Psychometry. She has worked within the salon for 2 years and has practiced Reiki for many years. In training, Nancy completed all 3 levels in Usui Reiki with a fully qualified Reiki Master, as well as various courses in Tarot and Mediumship development which is an ongoing process for her.
