Essential Oils

During massage treatments, we use a blend of essential oils in bowl of hot water, where the steam can be inhaled during the treatment. These oils are beneficial since they are pure, natural and organically sourced. Each oil has its own unique benefit:

  • Bergamot – Used to purify skin and soothe emotions
  • Clove – Promotes cardio-vascular functions and immune system
  • Clary Sage – Maintains hormonal balance and eases tension
  • Cinnamon – Boosts metabolic functions
  • Camomile – Calming
  • Cedarwood – Supports healthy skin
  • Eucalyptus – Cleansing and supportive of skin and cell respiration
  • Fennel – Promotes healthy circulation and digestion
  • Frankinsence – Maintains healthy cells
  • Geranium – Calming, and supportive of healthy skin and hair
  • Ginger – Antioxidant
  • Grapefruit – Increases alertness and promotes healthy skin and metabolism
  • Juniperberry – Aids in kidney functions as well as enhancing skin appearance
  • Jasmine – Creates a balanced mood and promotes healthy skin
  • Lavender – Relaxing and calming
  • Lemon – Increases energy and supports digestion and respiration
  • Lemongrass – Aids digestion and supports muscles and joints
  • Marjoram – Helps muscular functions and supports emotions
  • Myrrh – Used to cleanse skin and clarify complexion
  • Orange – Antioxidant as well as improving overall health and balancing emotions
  • Pine – Boosts immune system and reduces inflammation and redness
  • Rosemary – Promotes digestion and respiration
  • Sage – Antibacterial
  • Spearmint – Promotes oral health and freshens the body
  • Tea Tree – Aids skin complexion and immunity
